MOL, Gazprom to mull joint pipeline company
RBC, 12.12.2007, Moscow 18:18:27.Hungary's MOL has made an offer to Gazprom to establish a joint gas pipeline company to operate on Europe's central and southeastern markets. As reported by the Russian gas giant's press office, MOL Chairman and CEO Zsolt Hernadi made the proposal to Gazprom President Alexei Miller during a meeting today, where the agenda also included discussions of the results of the work of the vehicle company SEPCO for South Stream project preparations, as well as other issues of bilateral cooperation in oil and gas. Russia accounts for 80 percent of Hungary's natural gas imports, with supplies amounting to 8.7bn cubic meters in 2006.
