VEB may finance Avtovaz's investment program
RBC, 20.11.2009, Moscow 17:45:54.Vnesheconombank (VEB) is prepared to participate in the financing of Avtovaz's investment program once the car producer's debt restructuring parameters have been defined, the bank's representative Anatoly Ballo told journalists today. "We are willing to participate in the financing of Avtovaz's investment program along with other banks once we see a strategy for the company's activity. We have already discussed this with Sberbank and VTB," Ballo stated. As reported earlier, the company had to restructure RUB 47bn (approx. USD 1.63bn) worth of debts and loans as of October 2009.
